With only two months left on the calendar, many of us find ourselves in the midst of a rigorous sprint. Sales professionals and business owners alike are juggling to exceed their annual sales and revenue targets. Our calendars are chock-full with back-to-back meetings, holiday sales meetings, and engagements with clients, employees, and various professional and community groups. It's undeniable; our plates have never been fuller.
In such high-octane times, the weight of our responsibilities can feel overwhelming. The pressure to meet targets, manage expectations, and still find some semblance of work-life harmony can be stressful. During these intense periods, it's not uncommon for even the best of us to inadvertently slide into a scarcity mindset – a viewpoint that focuses on what we lack, rather than what we possess.
Before those feelings of stress, scarcity and overwhelm take hold, I want to drop in with a timely nudge, friendly reminder if you will – amidst the year-end hustle. Remember, cultivating an abundance mindset can be your secret weapon to a smooth finish in the final stretch. It shifts your focus from limitations to possibilities, from challenges to opportunities, from stress to creativity and from lack to more than enough.
One that empowers you to approach challenges with optimism, collaborate with enthusiasm, see possibly an opportunity and truly make the most of these final moments of the year.
Here’s some actions you can incorporate into your daily routine to intentionally cultivate an abundance mindset:
It requires continuous effort and practice. Over time, by integrating these practices into your daily life, the mindset of abundance can become a fundamental part of how you see your business, life, and our world.
"The Abundance Mentality, on the other hand, flows out of a deep inner sense of personal worth and security. It is the paradigm that there is plenty out there and enough to spare for everybody. It results in sharing of prestige, of recognition, of profits, of decision making. It opens possibilities, options, alternatives, and creativity." - Stephen R. Covey
There is always Enough,
Rebecca
